Being ref'd decently, both sides can probably nit pick but he's been fine.
Irish really spitting their dummies over on the other place. He’s fine and giving us a good game.

I can see being unhappy with the decisions on the VDM non-tackle and the Hogg 5m penalty. Them's the breaks. Nothing outrageous.

K so I had a look at this and Furlong is all on his own, trudging off slowly, as Ireland sprint off. What on earth
😂I was the same thinking "what had I missed"

There is a sub section of all support bases that needs something to complain about in everything.

Oops, terrible attempt at a tackle there by Finn. Good defence by Scotland afterwards just as the Irish machine started to rev up though.

Interesting, I thought you had to try and lift the ball when jackelling. A lot of new rules this week, very interesting.

Jamie Ritchie again failing to speak to a ref properly. Same thing in the France game.

Not the first time this tournament Ritchie's been stroppy with refs. Seems strange, just doesn't feel like that kind of player.

Irish injuries in this game have been crazy. They'll do very well to win it from here.

He's been poor today, slow in defence several times too.

And now down two hookers, luck doesn't seem with the Irish today.

The ball is six inches in the air when the penalty is given and clearly being held onto by the ball carrier. But I agree with you, he puts his hands on it first and waits for the cleanout before actually lifting it. I'd rather players were forced to have lifted it (or tried to) by the time the cleanout hits.

Scotland need to sort what happens with these Jones breaks, every time just getting exposed as no-one on shoulder.

Makes sense when you think about it.

Props better at pushing than hookers and no need to hook these days.

Hanson having a stormer. Thought he was great in NZ as well so don’t know why some Irish were giving him flack.

That's not a disaster as he has forgotten to card Ritchie.
