Meafou is an interesting project for ST (and maybe Fra too). Fra via Samoa, NZ and Aus.
22 stone but he's mobile, has a sidestep and soft hand like a SH.

Sharks really should have got something there out of all those chances, particularly as fortuitous with the high call
But Am saves, outstanding move and execution.

Not sure how legal that turnover was, Sharks player knees on the ground for a long time
Somewhat cathartic to see Bosch trying to make that tackle and get opposition riled up

Fantastic timing from Toulouse to knock that out of Mapimpi
Almost feel like that's the game, but scrum seems to have turned around for some reason.

ST bench is weak today: esp the front row.TheNatalShark wrote: Sat Apr 08, 2023 3:33 pm Fantastic timing from Toulouse to knock that out of Mapimpi

How long will he wait before giving a yellow in the red zone?

Didn't think there were any subs on from the first of the latest set of scrums Sharks have had upper hand on.Torquemada 1420 wrote: Sat Apr 08, 2023 3:34 pmST bench is weak today: esp the front row.TheNatalShark wrote: Sat Apr 08, 2023 3:33 pm Fantastic timing from Toulouse to knock that out of Mapimpi

Didn't feel like should have gone for the points there, particularly with Toulouse on a warning

Really poor play from Chamberlain there with the hack, and over committed maul defence with no forwards managing to come close to dropping out to support. Kok not enough trust in Williams (but may have drawn by failure of forwards to detach from maul)

This has been a great advert for rugby. 100% credit to the Sharks who have had to overcome all sorts of travel handicaps in this comp. I'd pay to watch them and will be tuning in next time I get a chance.

And that's that folks.
Am has been stood up like a goose for the last 2 trys.

You been watching? How about the waving Sharks to the tryline in the 1st half?

Dupont, Meafou and Ramos with world class performances today.
I've never rated Bosch at FH but FM he's a huge threat in open play. My favourite non-Fre player, Am, was surprisingly disappointing.

Yeah: well he was good in offence today but poor in defence.TheFrog wrote: Sat Apr 08, 2023 3:53 pmWas on a bike, watched only the last 15min.Torquemada 1420 wrote: Sat Apr 08, 2023 3:52 pmYou been watching? How about the waving Sharks to the tryline in the 1st half?

Well both games have ended up with lopsided scores but expect the next 2 to be tight.
Meafou in blue will be a huge improvement from Willemse.Torquemada 1420 wrote: Sat Apr 08, 2023 3:54 pm Dupont, Meafou and Ramos with world class performances today.

Ramos is growing in confidence. Jaminet will be second choice as long as Ramos plays at this level.
Jalibert like?Torquemada 1420 wrote: Sat Apr 08, 2023 3:54 pmYeah: well he was good in offence today but poor in defence.TheFrog wrote: Sat Apr 08, 2023 3:53 pmWas on a bike, watched only the last 15min.Torquemada 1420 wrote: Sat Apr 08, 2023 3:52 pm
