What's the overall picture re the Boks resting for each of the teams? Are they just expected to be available after the Six Nations/back for the "champions" cup?
The training camp ends on Fri 10 March, so we can assume that they should be available from Saturday.TheNatalShark wrote: Wed Mar 01, 2023 12:12 pm What's the overall picture re the Boks resting for each of the teams? After this weekend there is a break until the weekend of the 25th of March, and then it's Champions Cup the weekend after.Sandstorm wrote: Wed Mar 01, 2023 12:28 pmThe training camp ends on Fri 10 March, so we can assume that they should be available from Saturday.TheNatalShark wrote: Wed Mar 01, 2023 12:12 pm What's the overall picture re the Boks resting for each of the teams? IF the Stormers win, they had a clean sweep vs SA teams. That will be a massive achievement.
That’s a weird selection duo…..

Ja look like he wants Ernst in the team. BJD developed into a class player. Agree with you, he should stay at lock. Anyways let's trust Dobson.

WP loaded the team with URC players for Griquas...and went into a 6th loss in a row against Griquas.....expect Dobson to fill the team with URC players for the Sharks clash

Look I get it Sards, you are just so happy at least there was some success for the Sharkies at the end of what was a disappointing season. Dobson already conceded that he made an error by selecting some URC players, they were either knackered or mentally still off of from playing in the URC final the week before.Sards wrote: Tue Jun 06, 2023 12:25 pmUnlike WP we have kept our Currie Cup side a Currie cup side...OomStruisbaai wrote: Tue Jun 06, 2023 11:52 amLook like you totally forgot the $hark$ have a URC team?Sards wrote: Tue Jun 06, 2023 11:06 am

Good luck with Currie Cup Sards, first time this season I've seen you as amped. Don't lose to WP, don't think you could bare it again this season.

Of course I am amped. Won the under 20s, in this weekend final under 19s...junior coach an old boy ... In the finals CC. It's not just the CC. CC is just a part of a great season for the Sharks. When you see such growth across the Union you have to be amped. The coaching structures are looking great...https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_ ... ...there's a lot to look forward to going ahead. At least you have varsity rugby.
In other news...

I saw some of the training pics of the Sharks. Lots of URC players in the pics. You would think they would have learnt from Dobson. Don't change what is not broken

I differ from you. The CC should be played after the URC. This year is a big improvement from last year. The CC need the top players.Sards wrote: Tue Jun 06, 2023 6:54 pmWrong move SharksOomStruisbaai wrote: Tue Jun 06, 2023 4:50 pmFez Mbatha, Khutha Mchunu, James Venter, Aphelele Fassi ,Sards wrote: Tue Jun 06, 2023 12:25 pm

Cant play the Springboks. WP have one more anyway. The URC players that is injured obvious cant play.
However the WP lost three CC games without their best players being involved until the final and not being knocked out in the quarter final.

WP want to play lekker rugby. Zas probably out, Dan Doep and neef JL back, van Heerden back, Willie to start.
Only really saw Wener from URC at training. Hyron was back from injury but he has been CC any way.
WP.....correction
Saw Bosch in the latest training pics. Another URC player.
Now now Joe......learn from others mistakes.

Bosch would played CC if he wasn't injured.

Would love that. Werner has been injured so it might do him good to have a game. Maybe put Curwin on the bench to cover 10 and 15OomStruisbaai wrote: Thu Jun 08, 2023 9:11 amJPP say they want to rest all the URC players. Been playing into the ground.Sards wrote: Thu Jun 08, 2023 8:30 amURC.
