Surely the report of the game will tell you?

Less pedantically - I presume the card was because his left shoulder hits the ball barrier in the jaw.

Looking at the laws, the question seems to be whether there was a "high degree of danger" in the tackle. WR have defined a high degree of danger as any of the following:
The tackler draws the arm back prior to contact
The tackler may leave the ground
Arm swings forward prior to contact
The tackler is attempting an active/dominant tackle, as opposed to passive/soak, or “pulling out” of contact
The tackler speed and/or acceleration into tackle is high
Rigid arm or elbow makes contact with BC head as part of a swinging motion Contact
The tackler completes the tackle (as opposed to immediate release/withdrawal)
Based on that I'm not sure that there is a high degree of danger in that tackle, more likely a yellow than a red. But as WR are trying to protect ball carriers in situations like this and it was a particularly lazy effort from Beale I don't think he can be too aggrieved.

I'm going to say, no. Possible yellow.

No, that shouldn't be a red card. Yellow looks harsh.

Either way, some top class ooo la la's and other assorted French noises coming from the sidelines.

Red seems harsh, it's high and to the face but unintentially so, got caught out by the receiver juggling the pass.

Look at the front-on view. Kurtley's bicep hits him in the jaw. Swinging arm, contact to head, not a slip up. That's a red these days, folks. 'Intent' is irrelevant, and especially when it's 'reckless' like this.

Mitigating factors that can be considered were also not present: drop in body height, unsighted, or reactionary. He had time, poorly lined up, recklessly executed.

That’s a seriously screwed up call. I’d not even have thought a yellow.

Hand gripping shoulder, perhaps a little contact with face from arm, but very little. And it certainly wasn’t forcefully driving through. Pathetic.

It’s high. Some face contact. Knocked the player on his arse. All of those could be red on their own.

Together in this instance a penalty alone would be ridiculously lenient.

A tackle by Nadolo last weekend looked just as bad but the ref ignored it cause the tackle was made correctly even if the tackled player landed awkwardly

This, just a penalty for me - no real malice or weight in it, just a bit reactive and high
