And PS Galthie: see what an impact Vincent has made. Send Moefana back to the Federales where he belongs.
Not his fault. NZ just aren't expecting him to run and reacting accordingly.

I don’t think so. This was always going to be a tough gig with the occasion but they have done the jobEnergiseR2 wrote: Fri Sep 08, 2023 9:06 pmYes and no. There are better teams out there. Ireland for example when humming. South AfricaSlick wrote: Fri Sep 08, 2023 9:03 pmThing is, this is what this French team do that others in the past haven’t, win when emotional and not playing wellEnergiseR2 wrote: Fri Sep 08, 2023 8:52 pm Awful awful awful rugby. I am starting to believe in Irelands chances again

Underwhelming game, but congrats France. Has to be considered a marker

NZ have been pretty poor I've thought. At times overplaying in the wrong areas, other times awful kicking (and wildly shit chasing after it), poor discipline gifting France points throughout, for the first hour trying to play a game their ability couldn't cash, and towards the end ran out of ideas completely.
France have been alright and came on strong towards the end both with and without the ball, but for a large part of the game they just had to stay in it and let NZ beat themselves somewhat.

He ran because he had tried kicking it over and over and it had turned an even game into a big deficit - gotta chance your arm..he had support but no one was on the same wavelength and no one was steaming in to secure the ball. Depressing stuff for anyone who likes watching the all blacks, they've been robbed of their identity by joyless number crunching coachesGuy Smiley wrote: Fri Sep 08, 2023 9:08 pmHe ran because he didn't know what to do.JM2K6 wrote: Fri Sep 08, 2023 9:07 pmNot his fault. Beauden Barrett can fuck right off. Endless aimless kicking. We’re so fucked. Fozzie can fuck off. Half the team can fuck off with him.

Let’s lose to Italy, do an England, and get this over with.

This. France the better team but doesn't make them unbeatable. ABs were poor, bordering on very poor at times. Hopefully that's the worst from us.Gumboot wrote: Fri Sep 08, 2023 9:10 pm Well played, France. Completely dominated the second half.
Very disappointing from the ABs after an encouraging first forty. Terrible discipline and mostly pinned down inside our 22. Predictably dire.

If Danty gets back or Vincent starts instead of the invisible man, those gaps will be far fewer.Sandstorm wrote: Fri Sep 08, 2023 9:10 pm France need to sort out their backline defence. SA, Ireland and Argentina will makes easy, sexy yards.
Surprised the ABs seemed to fade more in the heat than France.
Two Tests in a row now. I think this AB team is sub-par and has no chance of a semi-final.Snooze wrote: Fri Sep 08, 2023 9:13 pmThis. France the better team but doesn't make them unbeatable. Difference was the Bokke were good on the day, the French were shite todayGuy Smiley wrote: Fri Sep 08, 2023 8:53 pmYou've forgotten the game just two weeks ago, then.Jethro wrote: Fri Sep 08, 2023 8:52 pm Got to say perhaps the worse AB performance of the last couple of years, simple errors, unable to put passes together, French must be pissing themselves laughing.

Don't disagree with that actually. Tough quarter no matter what. But, I can, and I fucking well will, live in hope.Sandstorm wrote: Fri Sep 08, 2023 9:15 pmTwo Tests in a row now. He can still get two more. First loss to Italy. Not make the QFs.
