I'm a big Nolan fan but I'm going to come right out and say that I'm not feeling the love for this one. JDW looks the part but he's a charisma void. Dialogue is ridiculously hard to follow between characters frequently being masked and the sound editing. Robert Patterson steals the filum and is 90% of the fun. Branagh hams it up and Debicki plays another gangster's moll in distress.
The final action set was ridiculous. Was it meant to be in Siberia, i.e. cold? And the mix of post-modern and dilapidated Soviet buildings made it look like a B movie set. Really had the look of a scene where the cash had run out.
He's had a good run of it but it looks like he's starting to disappear up his own arse.
Was busy googling afterwards to figure out what happened but then realised I didn't really care that much. Some questions though:
JDW character founded Tenet yeah?
"Bad guys" still get the contraption because who else would be making inverted bullets?
Maybe I'll enjoy it more with subtitles so I'll have some notion what the dialogue is.
Tenet - spoilers within
