Why on earth did Sale not take 3 points from bang in front against the wind?

Disappointing to go in this far behind, having played some really positive rugby. There have been some absolutely baffling reffing calls, the non-deliberate knock on being most obvious, but the penalty for not rolling away was a shocker, and letting a maul collapse onto a seriously injured player is an absolute doozy.

If Ford and Warr can use the breeze well in the second half we might sneak it, but suspect this will end up a frustrating afternoon

If Sale can just get the next 4 tries they'll make it a game.

Can't imagine any top seed fancying a match v LaR next

They'll be a real banana skin in the lower half, Sarries lesser so, but in a Cup match capable of turning over a careless side

The pack's been doing very, very well to give those two a platform. Thought they might get overwhelmed by the quality of the Toulouse 8.

It's actually really difficult to find any team that will be a pushover in the knock out round. Which is as it should be.

Nice little move that for Frost to get Exeter on the board. For a moment he looked like he expected to be whistled back, unused to having so much free space to run into.

The ENORMOUS Bayonne tighthead has been burnt badly twice in pretty quick succession.

Exeter playing like they really don't want to face La Rochelle in the next round.

Exeter were unfortunate with the yellow to Jenkins, but that's a stone cold red.

Sharks will top the combined pool. But the SA teams can't host semi finals.
