Great version of a Keith Richards' song

Ah hell no. One of my favourite singers from her era.

Too bad the majority of people only knows her because of "Brand new key" (still a good catchy song with misunderstood lyrics).

As great as her version of Ruby Tuesday is, her cover of "Mr Tambourine man" is not only her best song, but also the best cover of the song itself.

Will also be remembered for that cute smile and dimples. The original Hippie superstar.

I have newfound respect for you.

Did you guys in the old age homes listen to her music at the time, or did you think it was music for younger, happier audiences?

My Mrs was named Melanie after her.

She had an absolutely amazing voice. One of those that knew when to hold back and use the vocal power she had sparingly !

Sad news - Her version of Ruby Tuesday is one of my favourite songs. And her songs were part of my youth - sadly, all too many from that era are slipping away.
