See. There was a huge gap there between Ford & line, but instead of pinging a ball in the gap, he hoofed it too long to Ford.

Might as well put him in at hooker.

Yep, lets be honest momentum swung entirely when the wholesale front row change happened.
The comms got it 100% wrong, if it is knocked up the way it can be seen as a genuine attempt to catch the ball, but it was knocked down. They said it the other way

Brilliant from Ford & Smith.
Edit: Even better conversion.

Hands from the fly halves there! Glad for Freeman, he has worked like a maniac all tournament for little reward.

The difference in play between the first three games and these last two is bewildering. Pleased to see it, mind. Feels like we've finally turned a corner.Slick wrote: Sat Mar 16, 2024 9:49 pm Unlucky England. Amazing improvement from the start of the tournament.
Just need to move on a few more players. The likes of Dan need a bit more experience. A massive improvement in the last two matches.sockwithaticket wrote: Sat Mar 16, 2024 9:51 pmThe difference in play between the first three games and these last two is bewildering. Some silly mistakes, and ('neutrals' feel free to pan me) I thought France got the rub on a fair few bounces, otherwise we could have had that. I'm far from convinced Earl's indiscretion at the end was a worth a penalty but them's the breaks.
Lawrence at 12 is looking increasingly assured, and Freeman just looks a very, very good rugby player.

I would like to move Freeman in to 13 if we could have another fast winger like say arundell with feyi-waboso on the other side.inactionman wrote: Sat Mar 16, 2024 9:56 pm Some silly mistakes, and ('neutrals' feel free to pan me) I thought France got the rub on a fair few bounces, otherwise we could have had that. I do think that game would have been different if we had had a fullback on for more than 8 minutes. But there we are.
Just watched Alldrit and France shouldn’t be happy just because they ended up second, this is how RWC disappointments happen. They were not in touching distance of Ireland ffs.
