Aussie Outback Pain Relief Oil.

I've been having problems with pain in my elbow. Been to the Doc twice for injections [they were REALLY sore] , they didn't help.

One of our guests suggested that I try the Aussie Outback oil. I applied it twice a day for 3 days .................................pain is mostly gone.

Wouldn't be a surprise if it has some active pain/soothing compounds beyond just being a placebo.

Pain is an output of the brain.

The injections may have sensitised the area and a good old rub with some oil dialled it back down again.

Snake oil, from the Australian outback?

It's a bold proposition.

I've developed a passing interest in foraging and Herbalism, there are plants and stuff out there that are a damn site more effective than the pharma stuff it's just a case of going finding it and prepping them, so it depends what is in the oil. It's quite staggering the pharmacopia I have in the fields and woods around my house. There's a really useful app called picture this that can ID most things.

That's one I don't think is around here, or maybe I just haven't come across it yet.

Totally supportive of you choosing to use it as a singularly sad badge of personal inadequacy..

It seems like the olecranon area and then the ligament or muscle that is above the radius.

Sorry Chilli, just seemed a bizarre and convoluted mechanism to simply want to boast. Ultimately one is left with you stating that you’re a wanker and that’s been accepted unequivocally.
