Bergies give the Sharks a game.
Regarding the reffing. Bizarre. Strangely it was like watching a train wreck. There was no way WP could win that match even with assistance from the officials. They were just that bad. I could see the Sharks players getting increasingly frustrated with the ref after a complete string of penalties against them and watching WP just do as they like. And that disallowed try. Ja. Completely Bizarre. During the game I commented on social media about how the Sharks players were getting frustrated. Rassie must have agreed with me. Because he liked it. Weirdest thing ever. I have encountered him on social media before and checked out his account and it's the legit one.
Anyway huge congrats to the Sharks captain who kept the boys under control and led from the front bagging a try.
Nick Hatting. I am definitely going to keep an eye on him for the future.
The Boogieman had a poor game even with his sensational try. His hands were poor. He dropped the ball with just the tryline ahead of him and knocked a ball on , on our tryline into a WP players hands for a try. It was unbelievable. A 14 point turnaround from him. I hope that game was just a minor blemish and not the norm because there is talk of him and the senior squad.
The scrums were weird. No advantage to either side.
The lineouts. What a shambles for WP. That's why I am asking about the WP hooker. Not oupa. We know he was always poor.
Anyway the season is over for WP and it's fitting that the Sharks put that donkey to sleep. I honestly don't know where to from here for WP.

Springboks, Stormers and WP supporter.
It was only a matter of time before the investment started paying dividends. Watching our youngsters play you can see they are properly coached at a very high level. Remember we beat the Lions and Cheetahs. So are un a good position to make top 4. Our next game is against the Griffons which Ouboet was getting so pumped up about WP beating them.assfly wrote: Mon Aug 26, 2024 5:29 am The Sharks appear to have woken up, at last.
Nice to see the youngsters playing well. I hope the URC squad can feel some heat coming from these guys.
Should be an easy 5 points which will make us clear above the Pumas

Griquas, Griffons and WP are out of the tournament.
Can someone please confirm whether De Villiers was the under 20s captain and the hooker from WP also was the under 20s hooker. It will explain a lot about the under 20s dire performance

Lions go top of the log and Cheetahs drop against Kwaste. Look like a Sharks vs Bulls double header coming up. Lions the favorites now.
