Does that not just mean instead of giving a yellow and waiting for the upgrade

Well that's what I'm saying, if someone stabs POM they will get sent off with no replacement, team down to 14 for the rest of the match
Just did a bit of googling and it seems they were going to decide whether to make it apply to all red cards but have delayed that call. I must have misunderstood originally.

So the "red cards ruin matches" crew still have to fear their team's thuggery for now

Yeah my googling just now told me the decision was supposed to be made yesterday.

It would be a terrible decision if they did away with the option of the full red, it's bad enough with 20 minute red.

wow, great try Arg.

Good try. Everyone just dropped off him. Some limp tackles in there.

Argentinian Spanish has some pretty divergent pronunciations tbf

The new laws around the high ball have not been kind to Ireland

The replacement Arg scrum half was lucky not to be pinged for blocking, I thought

The reverse angle did suggest he knew what he was doing. Saved perhaps by Lowe's cheap shot and being so far from the ball.

They've lost most of their contests when Argentina have put the ball in the air, it used to be a huge strength.

Man, Ireland are really sloppy right now.

In general they need to get organised before the 6N or they're going to get pinged off the park

Prendegast isn’t the biggest looking lad. Couple of runs straight at him would be interesting.

Hey, yea only had Smith to replace Faz; we've had a half dozen that failed to step up; we had to practically develop human cloning to replace Sexton

Reassuringly old school fly half defence by the boy wonder so far...

Argentina architects of their own downfall in this period with some really poor clearances. Ireland turning down the three...

Brave call. Didn't work. Ends with an isolated Prendergast doing his best but lack of support means they lose it.

Huge tackles being put in here. Some of the hits sound like a heavyweight going to town on the heavy bag in the gym.

Ireland create something in midfield through Osborne and the team is so surprised they let him get turned over

That's a cheap shot and should be a red. No defending that at all. This will cost his team the game for sure.

Doris taken a head knock there but only because he was completely illegal as always in the ruck.
