Tbf there is nothing there that suggests the storm was at fault. I used to live near to the crash site and those roads are very enticing to drive quickly, does attract boy racers and bikers (not in storms usually though)

Quite a nice pub nearby bang in the middle of the forest that was a good date location to impress the laydeez , pubs name escape me for now.

Apparently it's not his first. Crashed his Lambo in 2019 while dressed as a snowman. Not a rocket surgeon.

35 years old and going in for surgery on a mangled foot. He'll be concentrating on his retirement instead.

Bout 20 years for me too, no idea if it’s even still there.
Know the country club long since closed , and what was the name of the other gangster club haunt on the Woodford new rd near Snaresbrook ? Often ended up in there with some of Eton Manor.
Real shitholes, but with some interesting women there.

Used to hang around Wanstead/Snaresbrook quite regularly but only really in the Eagle and a wine bar called Silks, sometimes the George. Silks is long gone

Ages ago, 3-4 of the London bored posse London NE division one, arranged to meet in the George with clear instructions that it was the Wetherspoons opposite wanstead tube, probably hanging near the bar and that massive fuckign chair they have.

Everyone’s fave Australian peadosnuff kinghit merchant coogee got very irate on the forum that he’s been in the George for hours in a wallaby rugby top and everyone is ignoring him.
“Is there a cinema & jaguar garage next door?”
“Yes mate”

*facepalm*

Nice pub the George (Wanstead). Was talking to the wife about the Country Club after you mentioned it, she got blood splattered one night when a fella at the bar got stabbed in there. I only went there a couple of times, once on a Wednesday night for "grab a granny" night  Thankfully was never a clubber.

Probably gets up at 9am, has a breakfast and heads into "work" at 10.30am. That consists of fannying about in a gym for 90 minutes and then on a football pitch for 90 minutes. Then his time is his own. He can even go out and crash a car if he wants, or hire a driver if he wants.

For that he gets paid in a month more than most of would earn in 10 years.

Who's dumb?

Seems nailed on for one of the many (soon to be ex )professional athletes who is broke or dead by age 45

Read someplace (forget where) but it’s something really high like 40% are broke and driving a taxi or working as an electrician within ten years of leaving the PL/ NFL/ Liga1 etc, and about ten times the death rate for people that age.

Does not seem especially sport specific either, recent events with dallaglio, Cohen, vickery , cau cau etc do seem to back it up

Sh*t drivers. Same as most performance marque owners. They buy an expensive accoutrement and then make the error of assuming owning means capable of using.

Again, why be a knob? He's a fuckwit, whether he labels himself by religion or not:

Haouas was sentenced for his role in a series of burglaries of tobacco merchants in France in 2014. He was handed an 18-month suspended prison sentence and fined the equivalent of £13,000.[8]

On 12 May 2023, he received a 2-year suspended prison sentence for a violent brawl in a bakery after leaving a nightclub in 2014.

On 30 May 2023, he was brought up for immediate trial and received a one-year prison sentence after hitting his wife in public. Haouas reportedly chased, tripped and slapped his wife outside a shopping centre in Montpellier the week before the trial.[9]

The problem is that successful sportsman are paid huge salaries when he they are young, and mostly free and single.

The smart thing to do is to live a life on just a fraction of their income, which, in most cases, will still be significantly more than the general population.
