Nice pub the George (Wanstead). Was talking to the wife about the Country Club after you mentioned it, she got blood splattered one night when a fella at the bar got stabbed in there. I only went there a couple of times, once on a Wednesday night for "grab a granny" night

Read someplace (forget where) but it’s something really high like 40% are broke and driving a taxi or working as an electrician within ten years of leaving the PL/ NFL/ Liga1 etc, and about ten times the death rate for people that age.
Does not seem especially sport specific either, recent events with dallaglio, Cohen, vickery , cau cau etc do seem to back it up

The problem is that successful sportsman are paid huge salaries when he they are young, and mostly free and single.
The smart thing to do is to live a life on just a fraction of their income, which, in most cases, will still be significantly more than the general population.
