Somehow the worst Fre U20s for several years might end up winning this comp

I wonder if they've ever seen Ben Earl celebrate an opposition knock on?

Putting your arms up when scoring for your country is one thing, bellowing like an idiot for anything, including a knock on, is something else

If Sco hooker had been any further infield for that throw, he'd needed to throw it over his shoulders to his team mates.

In other news, Ire U20 every bit as sh*t as I had described a week ago.

Not sure what you are upset about here even though Ire ended up last. The comment was aimed at the Fre selection and attitude towards the game.Tichtheid wrote: Fri Mar 14, 2025 10:05 pmTorquemada 1420 wrote: Fri Mar 14, 2025 10:04 pm Embarrassing. Struggled to beat the worst team in the comp.![]()

Fucksakes, if you don’t know then it’s worse than I thought.
Some positives to take out of that tournament for the Scottish lads. Got better as the tournament progressed, good win v Wales, great performance last night. Some good prospects coming through, on to the U20 World Cup now, just need to make sure we stay in the top level.
And are there two g’s in Bugger Off?

Yeah the backs especially have improved as they went on, in attack at least. In the forwards Douglas at 19 looks more than ready to step up to senior rugby. OB-L must get some senior game time too, he must be approaching the age where Zander made his debut for Glasgow at nearly 19

Stars seem to be lining up for a decent Welsh finish to what started as an awful year.petej wrote: Sat Mar 15, 2025 1:10 pm Not feeling optimistic this morning after the u20s. Dr England will give Welsh rugby a much needed lift.

Can't believe they flashed up "TRY" for Ireland touching the ball down in their own in goal.
