James Lowe? I know he got outpaced by Freeman but that's a tad harsh.

The Leinster lads on reddit (and there are a lot of them) have been frothing.
The focus on Pollock reminded me a lot of people ragging on Ashton for the 'Ash splash' as if he was the only winger in the world to regularly dive over the line tbh. People who just don't like a cocksure young player who can back it up, so they pick at any and eveything.

Prendergast desperately needs some tackle lessons.
Or maybe just some more fire up his arse to make tackles.
Can see Leinster scoring several tries, but with the defence today, I can't see Saints not scoring any further tries.

The Leinster fans taking umbrage seemed to think anyone hyping up some of the things he's been doing in recent weeks aren't fully aware he's a 20 year old in his first season of senior rugby and that playing what is essentially the Irish national team is a big challenge for anyone, let alone a lad so early in his career.
You must have come across Irish rugby supporters before?sockwithaticket wrote: Sat May 03, 2025 5:38 pmI think he's done fine, some good some bad.Slick wrote: Sat May 03, 2025 5:34 pmTo be fair, if you take out the try, a lot of that is true so farsockwithaticket wrote: Sat May 03, 2025 5:30 pm

His tackling has been absolutely appalling. Someone like Marcus Smith at least puts in the effort and is brave, Prendergast just doesn’t seem in the least bit interested or have any technique. Hard to overstate how poor he has been in that respectsalanya wrote: Sat May 03, 2025 5:34 pm Prendergast desperately needs some tackle lessons.

Also an odd decision, Leinster player came through and picked it up off the ground, which is fine, but no Northampton player was trying to hold on, so why a penalty when Northampton go back at him. You don’t get a penalty just for lifting the ball off the floor

Leinster have been much better so far this half, but Saints are hanging on in there well.

Given some of the stuff we see mitigated to yellow, that feels like penalty only tbh.

Very harsh on Pollock to give Leinster that pen imo.

Brilliant turnover from Coles and Pollock combining there.
Hope Leinster come to rue not taking the points in such a tight game.

Coles hasn't done anything wrong there.
Byrne's on the floor and plays the ball.
Penalty Saints.

Justice for Saints in the end. Deserved winners, especially with the weird ref fuckery in the last 10.
