I've always liked the guy.

However, can someone explain to to me why we get all misty-eyed when talking about him when his highlights reel is basically just one fight after another usually started by him.

How come he only ever played 1 Lions test, when his playing career spanned 5 or 6 tours? Bad luck with injuries?
