President Trump and US politics catchall
What do you men by "in exaggerated"?stemoc wrote: Wed Nov 04, 2020 3:51 pm5,550,871 votes counted. Estimated 79.4% - 93.9% in
exaggerated, less than a million vote left to count..
If 80% there is still over 1million votes to count. In the last 270k votes, Biden has received 210k of them.
Give a man a fire and he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.
Thing is though, Biden doesn't need Pennsylvania. He only needs states that he already leads in. Now Trump needs to overturn leads, not Biden.

Yeah, but either way there are 1.4 million absentee votes in PA to count, plus an unknown number of postal votes which can still arrive up till Friday. Just in Philadelphia aloe they reckon there's more than 200,000 votes that need counting.
If they split as per analysis predicts then they're going to go 75-25 for Biden

Not without shitting all over the entrance hall and doorstep first. He's going to claim vote fraud forever and a day and too many of his supporters have too many guns and too few brain cells.
I think the best case here is Trump is going to use the 'I woz robbed' narrative to cover his ego over the defeat and go more or less quietly after a symbolic legal challenge.
The USA Presidency - the most prestigious and powerful political office in the world is looking pretty tarnished it has to be said.

I reckon you'll find no one happier with Trump losing than Melania. She'll drag the orange baby, kicking and screaming, from the Whitehouse
“Facts are meaningless. You could use facts to prove anything that's even remotely true.”
Biden going to be a lame duck without a Democratic senate though.
GOP can block and delay confirmations for 2 years making his administration completely ineffective.
Doesn’t look like Dems are going to get the senate.

I don’t know about that. Right now she is married to the POTUS. If they get evicted she’s only married to Donald TrumpInsane_Homer wrote: Wed Nov 04, 2020 5:01 pm I reckon you'll find no one happier with Trump losing than Melania. yeah , but she is now no longer required to spend any time with him for the optics. She was never in ot for the fame, she was there for the pampered lifestyle and is now just waiting for him to kick the bucket and collect.

Just need to wait another 8 hours....
yeah, but there's fuck all voters in them; cities are the vast majority of the population, & they're blue
Thought Maricopa still mattered though? Largest of the lot and only half the votes reported.
Edit - see what you mean. Phoenix prob not a happy hunting ground but still early to call

There's still 1.1 million mail in ballots to be counted in Pennsylvania. https://www.votespa.com/About-Elections ... board.aspx

And ignored a Court order to fix it.
So in Pennsylvania, Since around 9.30am this morning GMT, Trump has gained 114k votes, Biden has gained 370k. If it stays at that rate, it'll end very close... Georgia seems to be gaining momentum back towards Biden too.

Yeah, they showed one district in Pilly, where they've only counted 64% of ~820k votes, & Biden is getting 80% of the votes, so if that continues, he can pick up ~230k votes ... In just that one District .... and there's a couple more which are similar, but smaller.Raggs wrote: Wed Nov 04, 2020 7:55 pm So in Pennsylvania, Since around 9.30am this morning GMT, Trump has gained 114k votes, Biden has gained 370k. He's 400k down, but the gap will close rapidly with that kind of vote share uncounted; & that's why the scum are trying to stop these counts !
Now under 400k down. He's catching fast. But he doesn't need it. Looks like he's got Michigan. Just needs Nevada now, but that's very close.fishfoodie wrote: Wed Nov 04, 2020 8:24 pmYeah, they showed one district in Pilly, where they've only counted 64% of ~820k votes, & Biden is getting 80% of the votes, so if that continues, he can pick up ~230k votes ... Every vote counts, every State counts; because it shows the legitimacy of the win, & undermines any attempt to mount a legal attack on the vote.
