All those mail-in ballots postmarked Москва, should have been a give away; but the GOP probably thought they were voting for their man

It'd be nice too if you could have one of your players pull on an opposition jersey; & then stick one on the ref; so the game gets stopped, & you get a walkover.

If there were problems with running this, & allowing people to vote safely & securely ... it is solely down to one Party !

Biden's vote share in Pennsylvania County has gone from 79% to 80% as the counted votes went from 64% to 70%

So obviously his percentage of the mail in votes is even higher than this, so he should get >230k votes out of this single district

Bill McLaren: And, after fifteen minutes in the sleet at Murrayfield, with the home side leading 3-0, the players have decided that it's "Blow this for a game of soldiers" and are heading for the bar. The referee blows his whistle and Edinburgh resounds to the roar of the crowd as the Calcutta Cup belongs to Scotland.

FYI, the NYT live map is really good, & you can drill down to the individual voting districts

Biden is about to close the gap to less that 300k in Pennsylvania, with a million votes yet to count

I think I want Nevada to declare first; & then Arizona to plunge the stake into the heart of the scumbag.

It would be poetic justice for the way he maligned McCain.

i wonder if instead of running campaign videos in Arizona, Biden's team created a video of trump insulting mccain ending with Biden saying "i'm Joe Biden and i approve this video" cause if they did, it worked lol

I know I keep on harping back to Pennsylvania, even though NV & AZ probably make it irrelevant; but Biden is a little more than 250k back now, with a bit more than 1 million votes to count; & for the last few hours; Biden has been winning 70% of the votes counted.

So if that trend continues; he will win by ~10k votes ....

It will be deliciously ironic if the orange scumbags obvious attempts to suppress the vote, turn out to be the reason why he gets turfed out

While I can see Harris' need to reason this out, I think he is wrong on a couple of counts, well wrong on one and off on the other.

1) His claim that Trump is not judgemental is wrong, he certainly is and frequently so. Sanctimony, though, he tends not to trot out.

2) His claim that as Trump doesn't judge he allows the average red neck to feel ok about his own shortcomings, including sin, is a race to find the lowest denominator. Surely we can do better than excuse someone for that, surely we aspire to higher ideals? If that sanctimony, bring it on, we need more of it.

They allow people to correct their ballet after they have voted. Not change the vote, but get the form of it right. It seems a very fair approach, but can extend the count.

There's also something else about the way they count, which I don't recall, but if I do will update here.

I'm beginning to think this whole thing is set up to keep everyone enthralled. Wont put it over the yanks to turn their election into a circus for entertainment purposes.

Problem is it's not really that enthralling. Dull is how I would mostly describe it. It's the test cricket of the election world.

This is nothing. The result of the election in 2000 wasn’t confirmed until over a month later, following several legal battles over the vote in Florida. The Supreme Court eventually determined that votes which had been missed by the counting machines should not be recounted, and this gave victory in Florida to Bush by just over 500 votes.

I know you are being disparaging, but there are similarities.

When I went to bed last night CNN had the score card as 253 EC votes for Biden and 213 for Trump and this morning it is still at those numbers, so, from that perspective it isn't very exiting.

However, like cricket the score can change in the blink of an eye.

This is too close to call.

Now hang on a minute, test cricket is enthralling. Although it does present the question which cricketer would Donald Trump be? The obvious answer would be a fat, blond moron with addiction problems who has dated some surprisingly attractive women, though I will not name names just to be fair. Then there's the anti democratic leader of a country near India who works of the irrational fears of many followers, though again I'll not name names. Or there's the ethical equivalence of a man who systematically abused test cricket before dying in a small aircraft incident along the Garden Route in SA. One could suggest he's a mishmash of these three mystery cricketers whoever they might be

Doesn’t look like Dems are going to get the senate.
As I've said, Biden is a moderate Republican in Democratic clothes. He's anti-free healthcare, pro big business and takes plenty of favors from them and lobbies hard for their interests. He's voted for policies that specifically screw the poor to benefit big business and even lectures that the poor have to pay their way. He is hawkish on foreign wars.

I think Biden will be every happy to have an excuse and barrier to not enact policies from the left which he clearly doesn't believe in. This way he get's to be the president he wants to be.
