It's often been speculated that Youngs' kicking is what keeps him in the team (it sure as shit hasn't been his running game for a long time and his service only gets more consistent in its consistency), but both Spencer and Robson are superior in this area now and do literally anything else better too. Seems unlikely (is this PT back, btw?). Spencer is a good organised systems player with a decent pass, a superb kicking game, and decent defensive nous, plus a lot of pace and scoring abilities. I'm still struggling to work out why he's been left out of the squad, he doesn't have any glaring weaknesses in his game as far as I can see.
