And no, the blonde slug will be going nowhere for a little while yet
I still think Johnson might have a run at US politics. He was born there so is able to run for President. A few years getting paid bundles on the speaking circuit over there and then follow the trump model and have a run for 2024.
Although he’d need to cut some kind of deal with the IRS to re-establish his citizenship first....

And are there two g’s in Bugger Off?
All he has to do is claim that his returns are being "audited" shirley?Biffer wrote: Fri Nov 13, 2020 9:24 am I still think Johnson might have a run at US politics. ...........and gone!!!
Dominic Cummings has left Downing Street this evening for good, a government source told Sky News.
The government adviser was seen carrying boxes away from Downing Street as the BBC reported he had left his role with immediate effect.

May his cobblers catch fire and roll down the bed, scorching his legs as they go.
Sadly, he's done more than enough damage. Bring back the days when the Grand Vizier was dragged to the chopping block after a fall.

Which the council said was totally unenforceable and would be in any circumstances? That council tax?

Its like some arsehole buying two big vicious dogs, & then abusing them & starving them, & rewarding them when they attack anyone who calls to the door ..... & then getting the hump when the attack him.

LEAVE MEANS LEAVE

We are being played here! This looks very stage managed and Blonde Bumblecunt doesn't have the balls to sack people in person let alone his best buddies. This is just a distraction, an attempt to shift the public gaze and a crap attempt to portray the BB as decisive and a leader taking hard action. Anyway Cummings has achieved what he wanted and awarded billions of £££ of dodgy contracts to all his mates. By the time he gets his cut he wont need to work again. In the interim he will be zooming the Blonde Bumblecunt daily.

He'll scuttle back to support Gove and his inevitable leadership push. And I believe he's still on Project Moon Shot.

Well we will at least now know what the fuck he has on Boris.
Conservatism is all about selling off everything the country has owned and invested in for generations, to their mates out of the backseat of the car, whilst escaping to the airport.
They are all laughing their asses off whether they are coming or going.
This conservative shit isn't a long term career, it is a grift.

It’s entirely stage managed. He didn’t have to leave by the front door, and he could easily have got someone else to bring the box out for him. This is a statement. I also think the box was empty - it’s Hollywood code for ‘I’ve just been sacked’.dpedin wrote: Sat Nov 14, 2020 3:07 pm We are being played here! Cummings has almost achieved his objective. Once the UK leaves with no deal, his work is done, and doubtless he will get a highly paid consultancy and fuck off to the Bahamas, or somewhere else nice where he won’t have to suffer any of the effects.
It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom - for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.

While he deserved to go from the COVID-19 lockdown breaking, it's a shame Cummings left government. Some people think he's a typical conservative, he really isn't however flawed a character he is.
His vision for Boris' Premiership was to invest in Britain in strongly Keynesian Economic program, address the imbalance with the north, invest in environmental solutions and energy for the 21st century, invest heavily in education, especially the Sciences and make Britain a small powerhouse for Scientific innovation, make a much better NHS and make the people in government and the Civil Service full of people with Maths and Sciences backgrounds. All of this a lot of people of any political side can get behind.
Sadly the media and political circles really were hell bent on getting at him due to his prior political success (a trap he fell into because of his own behaviour) largely because of Brexit and his campaigning tactics which takes a rather anti-woke cultural position which metropolitan liberals hate these days. Also his desire to see investment in Britain and his former closeness with Boris upsets Thatcherite Tories who never , ever believe in investing except for when the rich benefit, which despite their beliefs rarely returns benefits to society as they always argue.
The Cummings vision of Britain is strongly what, say, the less-woke obsessed left wingers actually and Labour centralists see for Britain. It's possibly the forces in the party might move Boris away from this vision of Britain.
I think the evidence behind higher R&D expenditure as a proportion of gdp is a pretty well established (to the extent that certainty in economics allows) proponent of future growth. If the government were to waterdown that commitment- in light of Cummings' leaving- then that would be travesty. Obviously can't say for certain what proportion of that was driven by him but the media certainly did credit him as being a key driving force behind that part of the government agenda.eldanielfire wrote: Mon Nov 16, 2020 8:02 amIt's not, but certainly Thatcherism has evolved into that.Line6 HXFX wrote: Sat Nov 14, 2020 3:50 pm Well we will at least now know what the fuck he has on Boris.

Conservatism is all about selling off everything the country ......
Under Thatcher the following were privatised - British Aerospace, Cable & Wireless, Jaguar, British Telecom, Britoil and British Gas. Major moved on to British Steel, British Petroleum, Rolls Royce, British Airways, water and electricity were among the major utilities for sale, it s argued that opposition to these sell-offs were the reason Major didn't move on the NHS. Major's second term saw the sell off of British Coal, Powergen, National Power and British Rail.
The moves to privatise the Post Office were abandoned at that time.
The legacy continued under New Labour with the sell-off of Air Traffic Control and massive PFI contracts in the NHS and schools.
Royal Mail was eventually sold off during a Tory administration, along with several banks, the probation services and we are seeing a creep of privatisation in the NHS.
Private ownership, the supremacy of the market and individualism were at the very heart of Thatcherism from the start, she and her followers were Hayekian from the off.
