England did score.

I was referring to the first one which was gathered safely by Ireland and we were under penalty advantage.

The second one, from which we scored, was a better decision and well executed. Running it through the hands wasn't really on after Youngs staring at the ball for a few seconds.

Why did Ireland not take the three points there? May gets it and its a 7 point turnaround. Fucking great finish.

Earls just not got enough pace there. Daly waved him through as usual.

Yeah, like last week where they targeted the scrum To make a point they seem to be targeting the first up hits here even if it means sacrificing a bit of defensive shape

Farrell still aiming for the waist on all tackles I see

So Ireland run Aki on a crash ball which gains good ground, but their backrow is awol allowing Curry to pick the scrum half clean. WTF are they thinking?

Backs' involvement seemed to fuck up the shape of that one, made it difficult to keep the ball available.

With a pretty loose definition of “attempt to wrap”, too

Are the Irish staging a Worst Beard competition because there are some absolute stinkers on display.

Oh, and we kicked on turnover ball with men in the line. Again.

And that's why JJ is a centre, not a winger.

Irish 10 just standing as a pivot, doing absolutely nothing to interest the English defence

And the half ends with another poor kick from Farrell, fitting.

That went better than I'd feared ahead of kickoff.

Can't believe how few phases we're willing to to when inside their 22.

Ireland are very bad. Our pack and defence in general are on top, shame we are addicted to kicking the fucking ball away all the time.

This 9th rate Keeweee poach SH for Ireland is truly 9th rate.

Comfortable for Eng as Ireland have less creativity than Tracey Emin in a coma.

I think Dan Carter would struggle with the quality of ball he's getting, mind.

England being England. Massive physicality and loads of kicking. And as we all know, that works until we can't dominate up front and you get the 2019 Final.

May has been excellent in all aspects, not just for the breakaway try.

Has Launchbury always been this good? I know he has always been a good player but last few games he has been outstanding for England

We really ought to have put them away. Defence awesome and not much more can be said about May.

I was thinking that earlier, Eddie said right at the beginning that he wanted England to be England - physical, good set pieces etc, and in fairness they are. Just feels like they are missing a few tricks.

And, yes, May been very good today

Underhill has been the best player for England so far (bar May of course) - his workrate is off the scale. Looks like a real pain in the arse to play against.

I’ve always thought he was a top player, though I could see why Kruis’ lineout work was so important

His form did dip a bit over the past couple of seasons and he was justifiablyslightly down the pecking order, he's right back on top form now though.

Possibly energised by knowing he's not having to try and get past Kruis for a shot.
