One of the most talented boxers ever to go through the ropes versus one of the most intimidating fighters of all time, both when in their prime, of course.

Is there a point beyond the money at this stage in their lives? They would never have met in the ring as pros, a point proven by the fact they didn't.

As I've just popped open a bottle of Aldi Shiraz, I'll probably stay up to watch it anyway.

I tend to agree, but it won't be full on anyway, it's being touted as an exhibition match

The only way you can get away with it is if you are as good as Roy Jones Jr

Maybe, just maybe Sugar Ray Leonard was better, but I'm not sure. Jones didn't have the quality of Hearns, Durán and Haglar as opponents right enough.

I’ll never forget RJ jr getting knocked out by Danny Green in the first round. Funny af.

Calzaghe’s win was more impressive imo, but by that time Jones had so much more mileage on the clock than his opponent, his record dwarfs anyone who beat him towards the end of his career.

He was guilty of going on too long, a common fault with boxers.
