Do you need less sleep as you grow older?
Supposedly staying away from screens in the hour leading up to bed helps a person fall asleep. But generally I can be watching Netflix or reading the boreds, etc., right up to the time I turn in, and get off to sleep pretty well. I wonder if this whole “no screen time before bed” is based on any real science.

It leads to a pleasantly tired feeling, followed by a peaceful , self-satisfied slumber.Yeeb wrote: Tue Dec 08, 2020 9:05 amFujiKiwi wrote: Tue Dec 08, 2020 12:06 am Supposedly staying away from screens in the hour leading up to bed helps a person fall asleep. It might be a different sort of light but I read for an hour or so on an old Kindle before settling down and have no problem getting to sleep.FujiKiwi wrote: Tue Dec 08, 2020 12:06 am Supposedly staying away from screens in the hour leading up to bed helps a person fall asleep.
