Look at Spanish civil war and how it started to see how things can get out of hand very quickly.
I really doubt that it’s most Republicans. I would suggest a loud small minority. The rest want to get on with life, and maybe think of the midterm elections to take control of congress.
I know it's a bit like this bloke on the pub told me but I heard/read of a poll a week or so ago that reckoned 70% of Republicans thought they'd been cheated.
That's what I was working off too.

So given about 29% of registered voters are republican, and there’s something like 160 million registered voters, that’s about 32.5 million people. About 10% of the population.

Always have to watch how stats are presented.
And that might include all those who think there's some element of fraud, it doesn't distinguish in what's noted there how many think that level of fraud is meaningful and should come anywhere close to justifying a coup

Poll: 70 percent of Republicans don’t think the election was free and fair

The POLITICO/Morning Consult survey found trust in the election system plummeted among Republicans while rising among Democrats after the race was called on Saturday.
Half of Republicans say Biden won because of a 'rigged' election: Reuters/Ipsos poll
And the NY Times has a little more analysis on the topic, which I think is more useful than the above attention grabbers:
Most Republicans Say They Doubt the Election. How Many Really Mean It?

Survey research tries to sort out the typical partisan reactions to a loss from an erosion of trust that may be more lasting.

Since the election, surveys have consistently found that about 70 percent to 80 percent of Republicans don’t buy the results. They don’t agree that Joe Biden won fair and square. They say the election was rigged. And they say enough fraud occurred to tip the outcome.

Those numbers sound alarmingly high, and they imply that the overwhelming majority of people in one political party in America doubt the legitimacy of a presidential election. But the reality is more complicated, political scientists say. Research has shown that the answers that partisans (on the left as well as on the right) give to political questions often reflect not what they know as fact, but what they wish were true. Or what they think they should say.

... Still, only about 20 percent of Republicans said they considered a Biden victory the “true result.” And 49 percent said they expected Mr. Trump to be inaugurated on Jan. 20 — a belief that’s “unreasonably optimistic” at this point

Are we talking about voters who registered as Republican or the 74 million voters who voted for Trump?

I doubt the ones filmed shouting "Destroy the GOP!" and smashing up black churches are onboard with the result.

No, but 74 million is a sizable endorsement.

Some people refuse to admit defeat, like those who reckon SA didn’t deserve to win the RWC, or those who say that Trump was an illegitimate president to the extent of not attending his inauguration.

The electoral college has confirmed Biden's win. Trump has responded by firing Bill Barr.

How do you rate it in comparison with Obama getting the Nobel Peace Prize?
Up there with Abiy Ahmed's Nobel Prize.

Look over there! The Democrats!

What are your thoughts on the 126 Republicans in Congress who endorsed the efforts to overturn the election? Slightly more worrying than Democrat voters who were aghast at the Trump victory (and, as it turns out, with great reason), no?

What on earth does the diapered one have on Graham to make him do this, or has Lindsey just utterly sold out to be (as he sees it) at the top table?

Now I totally disagree with outing people without their consent and think that it was wrong to do it to Lady G.

Biden's picked Pete Buttegieg as his transport secretary.

Won't surprise me if he becomes Kamala's running mate in 2024.

Buttegieg achieves his real goal - progress out of South Bend politics. Now he has a national platform, what he makes of it is up to him

I don't think he'll be figuring in Politics too much longer.

When those pictures of his hands circulated a few weeks ago, they reminded me of my Dad's; when all the Doctors want to do is take more blood, for more tests, & the bottom line is still the bottom line

In other terrible news, the NY Supreme Court has ordered the Trump Organisation to turn over documents relating to an apparently dodgy property deal the NY Attorney General is investigating, ruling against the claim of attorney-client privilege by said Organisation.

No wonder he is so keen to steal the election by any means possible.

Indeed, as several Democrats noted, if there really was a grand conspiracy to rig the elections, the first thing they would have done would have been to get rid of McConnell.

Looking at his hands he's probably on Warfarin for high blood pressure, therefore is at increased risk of death from Covid.

I think Warfarin is used to treat thrombosis and other blood clotting conditions, not high blood pressure. Indeed, it can increase blood pressure.

Yes, it's an anticoagulant. Not sure if it increases blood pressure though. Think the main side effects are potential bleeding, so they often have to apply a warfarin reversal protocol if the patient is undergoing surgery or has a trauma event.

He's already gone off on one about McConnell.

I've said it before, but being elected President was the worst thing ever to happen to Trump. Sure, he's grifted like mad and his rotten family have had their snouts in the trough, but his entire life has been subjected to public scrutiny far beyond anything his monstrous ego can bear, the world has seen him for what he truly is - not a successful businessman and TV star, but a hollow sham built on lies and disgusting behaviour, an enabler of racists and fascists, and with all the morals and restraint of a syphillitic mob boss, lashing out at anyone who dares to question him in the slightest.

Turns out that Donald's intent to live at Mar a Labour breaks an agreement he signed with Palm Beach that no-one will stay at the resort for more than 21 consecutive days. Even him listing his residency there appears to break that contract.

But hey, it's just another contract he's signed that he's attempting to ignore

Did you take note of the story that technically he cannot go and live at his Mar-A-lago resort, presumably to avoid taxes he changed from being a residential hotel, for him this means so you can't stay more than 7 days in a row nor more than 21 days in a year or something. Obviously Trump is big on law and order even when it applies to him so he'll act accordingly we can assume with confidence
