Santner is back so has a chance to prove us wrong. With time ticking away this is like Jordie grabbing an intercept 80 metres out and hoping he has the pace to get there.

That said, he’s just ripped one past the edge.

Edit: and he’s only gone and done it. Santner noses in front of Jordie in the “having a use” stakes.
