Given his leg is pinned in about 2,000 places I think it’s unlikely he’ll be teeing off this week.Ymx wrote: Mon Apr 05, 2021 8:29 pm What’s the latest with Tiger Woods?
I don’t remember hearing the outcome of his accident.
I seem to recall someone saying no golf again.
So you’re saying there’s good odds at the bookies.ScarfaceClaw wrote: Mon Apr 05, 2021 8:30 pmGiven his leg is pinned in about 2,000 places I think it’s unlikely he’ll be teeing off this week.Ymx wrote: Mon Apr 05, 2021 8:29 pm What’s the latest with Tiger Woods?

Given how well my previous picks have gone I may as well drop £20 on him now.Ymx wrote: Mon Apr 05, 2021 8:33 pmSo you’re saying there’s good odds at the bookies.ScarfaceClaw wrote: Mon Apr 05, 2021 8:30 pmGiven his leg is pinned in about 2,000 places I think it’s unlikely he’ll be teeing off this week.Ymx wrote: Mon Apr 05, 2021 8:29 pm What’s the latest with Tiger Woods?

He's back home, & the Cops know the cause of the accident; following the analysis of the blackbox in the car; but they can't say anything unless Tiger approves it; so we'll probably never know (legally).Ymx wrote: Mon Apr 05, 2021 8:29 pm What’s the latest with Tiger Woods?

With a fucked back; & now a fucked leg; it's hard to imagine him ever getting beyond the level of a recreational golfer.
I'm looking forward to this, looks like it's pretty open this year, no overwhelming favourites. Really hope DeChambeau crashes and burns, there's something about him I really can't take to. Be ideal if this secret club he's talking about turns out to be illegal an he's Dq'd.
And are there two g’s in Bugger Off?

He’ll be wearing a face mask with glee as it means he’ll be able to clear out the lockers of valuables without being recognised.

These greens seem to be playing like they’re glass. The afternoon players are going to have some fun.

And Rory looks like he’s on his way to getting his blow out round of the way early in the tournament.

His driving is looking shaky. Inconsistent and too wayward.Un Pilier wrote: Thu Apr 08, 2021 4:49 pm I would be most pleased if Lee Westwood chalked up a cheeky major win
Yes, I don’t really expect he’s going to start winning majors now. He’s in decent form though.ScarfaceClaw wrote: Thu Apr 08, 2021 5:08 pmHis driving is looking shaky. We’ve reached the Butch Harmon wanking on about how Augusta is such a special place and a unique golf course that tests like no other and mentally destroys anyone who even dares glance towards it stage.

Augusta is just a pleasure to look at, isn’t it
Old men forget: yet all shall be forgot, But he'll remember with advantages, What feats he did that day
My grandad was involved in Clober GC in Milngavie (he supplied them booze, didn’t play) and I once brought a mate up to play there one year when we were about 13. Just about to tee off on the 1st and Sandy Lyle came past in a buggy and started chatting. He ended up coming round with us until the 6th giving tips and having a laugh. Amazing timeBiffer wrote: Thu Apr 08, 2021 3:24 pm Sandy Lyle playing in his 40th Masters tournament. He's the 12th player to do so. Quite an achievement for a player who never really seems to get the recognition in the media for his achievements.

He never should have split with JP. It wasn't his caddy that was the problem.

DeShambles spraying it around. Harmon having a great time calling him Mr 67 Par after his claims on the course last year.

I'd love to know how many drug tests the PGA tour do per year, & how anyone thinks his transformation was all natural.ScarfaceClaw wrote: Thu Apr 08, 2021 8:56 pm DeShambles spraying it around. Harmon having a great time calling him Mr 67 Par after his claims on the course last year.

Jesus that's cruel.
You could actually see the ball slow; and then start to accelerate again, & you knew there wasn't enough of a collar to hold it.

The big day is always, moving day. The Europeans have an unfortunate habit of screwing the pooch on the weekend; after flattering to deceive the previous days

How many kilos of muscle did you add; when the drug testers weren't about ?

Do they actually do drug tests? Dustbin Johnson took a year off for coke issues and Tiger would have tested for most recreational drugs in recent years but I can’t think of any obvious marginal gains style tactics going on.fishfoodie wrote: Thu Apr 08, 2021 9:06 pmI'd love to know how many drug tests the PGA tour do per year, & how anyone thinks his transformation was all natural.ScarfaceClaw wrote: Thu Apr 08, 2021 8:56 pm DeShambles spraying it around. They've never published the numbers of tests; so we don't know. After the VJ, 'deer antler spray', fuck up; the PGA have been gun shy.ScarfaceClaw wrote: Thu Apr 08, 2021 9:58 pmDo they actually do drug tests? I think DJ has actually had two silent bans for Mexican marching powder; but who really knows ?
Beta-Blockers, pain meds, & now steroids are the obvious PEDs to look for; but the only players actually getting tested, are the ones on the Olympics squads

Where did that come from, he had no form heading into this week?
and Westwood on current form crapped the bed.

Form temporary, class permanent. Main problem has been back spasms I think. He’s had to withdraw from tournaments and it’ll have affected his performance in others. If he’s found a way to manage them, no reason why he can’t compete.Insane_Homer wrote: Fri Apr 09, 2021 5:00 am Where did that come from, he had no form heading into this week?
