99, bad luck.

If he had stuck it out another 2 months, he would've received a birthday card from the Queen.

indeed.
However, before an engagement could be announced, the prince needed a new nationality and a family name. He renounced his Greek title, became a British citizen and took his mother's anglicised name, Mountbatten.
Does Pritti know about this? :problem:

I had to wait till after my marriage to get my passport.

So, with the title of "most racist royal" vacated, surely it's the right time for Andrew to reinvent himself?

I see Stoke City have retweeted the Tweet mentioned above with their commiserations, presumably to troll James Maclean.

Legend of a chap.

Goes to show his influence that his death is being mourned in the pub I've just left: all nationalities and races, you can hear the general chit-chat as you walk between table and toilet.

A great representative for the country and the Queen, hope they have good whiskey and gin upstairs.
And on the 7th day, the Lord said "Let there be Finn Russell".

Not long out the cinema either :)

Recommend 'The Father', one of the best films I've seen in last few years!

Fair play to him if that's what he stated, but that's just not going to happen - we all know what the first 10 pages of most newspapers are going to be full of for the next few days... ( including the obligatory DM sinister slant)

You can imagine the opprobrium any UK media will get if it's just a matter of fact story

The no public funeral, no lying in state stuff isn't due to Covid, those were his express wishes. He hated fuss by all accounts.

Depends on how the arseholes in the tabloids and Telegraph whip it up
Otherwise the young chap has just lost his grandfather so with sympathy I'd have thought
Only 30 people allowed to attend a funeral so some very difficult decisions to be made on who will attend from what is a somewhat large extended family

She's around 6 months pregnant isn't she? Most docs would start advising against long haul travel sometime around that point, if only because of the discomfort

They still have Boris, Rees-Mogg and Farage, unfortunately none of those cunts look like dying soon.

How many years have the TV networks spent preparing for him snuffing? They all seem to have hours of material

Probably 20+ years.

A relative worked for the BBC and one of her projects was preparing the obituary for the queen mum. They had to re-record a load of it every few years as the queen mum outlived the people being interviewed.

On a side note, my relative loathes the BBC with a passion after working there for a few years.

They've got 70-odd years worth of material. Any half decent editor could piece together a 2 hour slot from all of that
