Have you bought meat from the Superspar in Humerail? They have dry aged steak and T-Bones which are 10cm thick. I'm going there on Friday to get a T-Bone.

I also bought on Ssaturday. Asked the butcher to cut it thicker. told me that it's man size and R10 per kg extra. I just give up.Chilli wrote: Mon Jul 12, 2021 2:06 pmYeah.........what can I say.average joe wrote: Mon Jul 12, 2021 2:02 pmEmphasis on the "had" they have none now, all fokon gone.Chilli wrote: Mon Jul 12, 2021 1:35 pm Checkers had T-Bone at R89.99 per kg

Wors, lamb chops some sosaties, garlic bread and po-ta-to salad

I use baby potato's for my potato salad.
Boiled in skin, slightly over cooked. Drain off water and in the hot pot mix it a crap load of mayo and a packet of bit's of bacon cooked crispy. stir vigorously with a wooden spoon so that the break up just slightly. Bit of salt & pepper and some chopped chives if wanted.
Fucking excellent the next morning fried in butter.

Gotta have a dop for a test! Only 2 beers left, will leave that for when I'm lighting the fire and then a few brandies.

My boet throws in condensed milk. Can see chopped gherkins working and possibly even some well fried chopped onions/garlic.
With bacon and mayo
