Well, I expected nothing from this game and I feared a tanking. As it progressed I started to think that not coughing up a BP would be a decent outcome. So naturally we do that with the last play of the game.

Yes. We did have a period where the discipline improved - a year or two. I’m not sure, but I suspect it may have coincided with Vern Cotter being the coach. Sorry, struggle to see the relevance of that comment. He was good for the majority of the match but I thought he lost the plot a bit at the end. Didn't penalise Ireland for not retreating 10, allowed POM to drag the SH into a maul. Penalised the pick and drive when they did exactly what he instructed them to do and then allowed POM to jump into the tackle.
