WT and Rinkydink always made me think about that Ben Babsie en familie comic strip. Now Sards and Oom has taken over the mantle.
some respect for the Toppies please......we are the lifeblood of the FORUM...When the lighties reach Premium poster status they are still far off OG statusaverage joe wrote: Mon Mar 01, 2021 7:27 am WT and Rinkydink always made me think about that Ben Babsie en familie comic strip. I really could not give two flying foks about reaching "Premium poster status" on some obscure fokon rugby forum. There's far more important things to worry about. You and oom just remind me of the boertjie and his ingilse buurman that was always arguing over the fence wall.

I agree, let's not create confusion. I'll rename it to elite posters.Chilli wrote: Mon Mar 01, 2021 8:54 am So now the premier posters are premium posters?

Been a while since I was last De wet Barry. Probably last year at a friends braai where I drank way to much red wine and had to endure a terrible taxi ride home.
Sat outside the kitchen door until I chundered into the dogs bowl. Took me 3 days to recover. Dogs seemed quite happy.

I never make it home before I have to ask the taxi to stop in a lay-bye.assfly wrote: Mon Mar 01, 2021 11:37 am Been a while since I was last De wet Barry. Probably last year at a friends braai where I drank way to much red wine and had to endure a terrible taxi ride home.

Last time I was chunder vrot it was 2019... work X-mas party, Red wine. I don't think I've had more than 2 glasses of wine in a sitting since August 20.

Red wine and taxis are a bad combination; coupled with the usual potholes out here.Sandstorm wrote: Mon Mar 01, 2021 11:41 am I never make it home before I have to ask the taxi to stop in a lay-bye.![]()
As soon as it started driving I remember thinking it was going to be a miracle if I don't paint the inside of the car.

Red wine...oh vok...keep it away...I am more likely to huddle on the floor and tell you all about my life.assfly wrote: Mon Mar 01, 2021 11:37 am Been a while since I was last De wet Barry. Tequila the same.
Beer bloats me and gives me gout.
White wine just tastes awful after a few glasses and also gives me gout.
Brandy and coke , migrating to straight coke so noone notices the difference....
I get no pleasure from getting vrot.
I don't enjoy it as much as I used to, probably because we don't socialise that much anymore.Sards wrote: Wed Mar 03, 2021 7:02 am Red wine...oh vok...keep it away...I am more likely to huddle on the floor and tell you all about my life.

But I do enjoy a G&T on a hot afternoon.
Glass of red wine in the evening with dinner.

When it's touching 40 degrees C, a beer or 2 after work is great. Also on the weekend if you're lighting the fire.
Red wine is good when eating out, especially in winter.
White wine is perfect for late morning, early afternoon wine tours on a hot summer's day.
Brandy and Coke to end things off.
