Being drunk on a Sunday - that’s one of only two things that makes my soul feel I’m on holiday.
Have fun mate - I’m jealous!

I really could not give two flying foks about reaching "Premium poster status" on some obscure fokon rugby forum. There's far more important things to worry about. You and oom just remind me of the boertjie and his ingilse buurman that was always arguing over the fence wall.

We need to keep it going on this forum. The real rugby starts in April.

Sards, to become a premium poster, it's all about quality, not quantity. With saffer now sadly not active, we're a bit light on premium posters.

I agree, let's not create confusion. I'll rename it to elite posters.

Been a while since I was last De wet Barry. Probably last year at a friends braai where I drank way to much red wine and had to endure a terrible taxi ride home.
Sat outside the kitchen door until I chundered into the dogs bowl. Took me 3 days to recover. Dogs seemed quite happy.

I never make it home before I have to ask the taxi to stop in a lay-bye.

Last time I was chunder vrot it was 2019... work X-mas party, Red wine. I don't think I've had more than 2 glasses of wine in a sitting since August 20.

Red wine and taxis are a bad combination; coupled with the usual potholes out here.
As soon as it started driving I remember thinking it was going to be a miracle if I don't paint the inside of the car.

Red wine...oh vok...keep it away...I am more likely to huddle on the floor and tell you all about my life.
Tequila the same.
Beer bloats me and gives me gout.
White wine just tastes awful after a few glasses and also gives me gout.
Brandy and coke , migrating to straight coke so noone notices the difference....
I get no pleasure from getting vrot.

I don't enjoy it as much as I used to, probably because we don't socialise that much anymore.
But I do enjoy a G&T on a hot afternoon.
Glass of red wine in the evening with dinner.

You need to have the right drink for different circumstances.
When it's touching 40 degrees C, a beer or 2 after work is great. Also on the weekend if you're lighting the fire.
Red wine is good when eating out, especially in winter.
White wine is perfect for late morning, early afternoon wine tours on a hot summer's day.
Brandy and Coke to end things off.

Start with a beer (keep the kidneys stones in check)Charge Office Coffee or Kameel Saad (Amarula)always the best to finish. I stop drink after I ate.

I've just started getting into whiskey. Only a small one occasionally on the weekend, but starting to get an appreciation for the flavour. It's such a complex drink.
