Beast calls out Ellis Genge

Nothing would make Genge drop the tough guy act like having to scrum against Beast

'Rubs his forearm'JM2K6 wrote: Tue Mar 23, 2021 2:08 pm Why is it a red card? He doesn't strike the twat, just rubs his forearm on him. It'd be a yellow, though, and very poor discipline.
England have never really recovered from 2019 RWC final. It broke them, I guess it can be hard to get confidence back after being destroyed physically and tactically.Torquemada 1420 wrote: Tue Mar 23, 2021 2:05 pm The answer in regards sanction (at least from without) is nothing.
What that does signal to me is how much discipline is breaking down amongst Eng players. Not sure how TMO missed that but for me it's red. Yellow minimum.
As an aside, this is another example of why players should stay OFF social meejuh.
Nah. He's rubbing his forearm in his face. Hence no citing.Lemoentjie wrote: Tue Mar 23, 2021 2:10 pm'Rubs his forearm'JM2K6 wrote: Tue Mar 23, 2021 2:08 pm Why is it a red card? He doesn't strike the twat, just rubs his forearm on him. It'd be a yellow, though, and very poor discipline.
He pushes his elbow into his face
Playing attacking rugby is great. Its part of the sport. Next time he'll be on the receiving end. Maybe Corne Krige should have a talk with Beast.Lemoentjie wrote: Tue Mar 23, 2021 2:24 pm Attacking a man who can't defend himself makes you a massive kunt
It's not a good gif but isn't all that contact to the neck/face? In which case that's almost always a red these days.JM2K6 wrote: Tue Mar 23, 2021 2:08 pm Why is it a red card? He doesn't strike the twat, just rubs his forearm on him. It'd be a yellow, though, and very poor discipline.
I don't think there's a law in the law book that specifies that rubbing your forearm in a player's face is a red. Happy to be corrected.Torquemada 1420 wrote: Tue Mar 23, 2021 2:36 pmIt's not a good gif but isn't all that contact to the neck/face? Nah, they normally talk about a strike if it's not a tackle. It's very, very, very rare to get a red for this sort of thing.Torquemada 1420 wrote: Tue Mar 23, 2021 2:36 pmIt's not a good gif but isn't all that contact to the neck/face? There isn't a Law stating that sticking your finger up your opponent's arse is a red. What's your point?Margin__Walker wrote: Tue Mar 23, 2021 2:42 pmI don't think there's a law in the law book that specifies that rubbing your forearm in a player's face is a red. My point is that unseemly as it is. Reds for physical acts are generally handed out for offenses with a high degree of danger.Torquemada 1420 wrote: Tue Mar 23, 2021 3:07 pmThere isn't a Law stating that sticking your finger up your opponent's arse is a red. Yep, but obviously not to your fellow countryman who wants to act like a shit stirring twat

Saffers don't get to complain about shithousery, given you guys are number one for this sort of niggly nonsense, and "Beast" looks a right twat for threatening someone on Twitter, the big jessie.
Genge is a dickhead but no one comes out of that spat smelling like roses.

Maybe. This is repeated (so meditated), to the face area against an opponent unable to defend himself on the floor.Margin__Walker wrote: Tue Mar 23, 2021 3:11 pm My point is that unseemly as it is. Reds for physical acts are generally handed out for offenses with a high degree of danger.
Something that's not the case here.
There is no contact with the eyes. "Contact to the eye area" is not the only law which can result in red..JM2K6 wrote: Tue Mar 23, 2021 3:18 pm Cripes, you must have better eyesight than me then.
No hands near the eyes, though, which is what that law is about.
Well I think we can all agree that Genge is a moron, prone to doing something stupid whenever he's held in at the ruck. Albeit you give him too much credit on the meditated. He doesn't seem to think particularly hard about anything.Torquemada 1420 wrote: Tue Mar 23, 2021 3:27 pmMaybe. My reaction, had that been Haouas, would have been "you f**king moron, you just got yourself sent off".
Thanks but I was replying to someone who was talking about that law so heyTorquemada 1420 wrote: Tue Mar 23, 2021 3:29 pmThere is no contact with the eyes. ................not forgetting that the Citing Officer who would have seen the incident from all available angles didn't report it for disciplinary action!Margin__Walker wrote: Tue Mar 23, 2021 3:34 pmWell I think we can all agree that Genge is a moron, prone to doing something stupid whenever he's held in at the ruck. That doesn't make it a red card offence though.
You may be right on the card. If I were the ntl coach, he'd be gone. Too many headcases in the Eng side already.Margin__Walker wrote: Tue Mar 23, 2021 3:34 pm Well I think we can all agree that Genge is a moron, prone to doing something stupid whenever he's held in at the ruck. I know. I saw that in the Torygraph. But you can only cite for red level offences which means he got away with his idiocy so expect to see it again at a cinema near you.SaintK wrote: Tue Mar 23, 2021 4:23 pm ................not forgetting that the Citing Officer who would have seen the incident from all available angles didn't report it for disciplinary action!
Yeah agree. For the moment anyway. He's not good enough to justify carrying his aggroTorquemada 1420 wrote: Tue Mar 23, 2021 4:23 pmYou may be right on the card. Nah, just being held in. It's the second time he's lost it at some minor shithousery this 6N.shaggy wrote: Tue Mar 23, 2021 5:16 pm What triggered it? There was something more than just being held in? A bite?
