He's always been a bitter toolbag but he seems to be getting increasingly deranged.
Latest target is Emma Raducanu.

Looks like we’re beginning to get into the latter stages of an Eddie coaching role.

Been done (repeatedly)

Won't stop the kiwis - who've never had Eddie Jones as a coach - jumping in to tell us they told us so, which they first started doing years ago when they predicted he wouldn't last two years...

This is by some way the longest coaching stint he's ever had. There's nothing you guys can tell us that we don't already know.

And as if by magic, everyone is talking about Eddie again and not the squad, the game, the picks etc etc.

He's a twat, but he sure as hell keeps the media off his squad in a way that none of our previous coaches have done.

Raducanu has only competed in two tournaments since she won the US Open. She lost in the first round and lost in the QF.

From that body of evidence, Jones has surmised that she's been distracted off the court.

Here's the thing, why isn't an elite coach far more interested in the win and performance that exceeded all historic expectations rather than dwelling on the two events after it?

Jones is an absolute menace, he's going to leave a total train wreck behind him when he leaves England that will take years to put right. And we'll win fuck all before he leaves as well. Two more years of this utter shite.

Eddie Jones likes people talking about Eddie Jones, he doesn't give a toss about the physical or mental well-being of the players. He's a classic narcissist.

A lot of people taking offence on her behalf. The chances of her caring at all what an ageing rugby coach thinks are pretty minimal.

As mentioned, this week's media debate of Faz vs Smith has already been thrown off course.

You don't have to take offence on her behalf or worry that she cares. You can just recognise it was a fucking stupid thing to do by Eddie and it was pointlessly shitty. People need to stop getting so upset when shitty behaviour is called out for what it is.

I don't really care what Raducanu thinks tbh. I'm more intrigued that a coach is more worried about the possible consequences for a player after reaching the top of his sport than he is about what is required to make sure he reaches that level. It's epic levels of cart before horse.

I just hope the journos don't let this chancer off the hook. Jones has been grifting for years now.

Give the poor bugger a break, he peaked in 2007 as an understudy.

His survival credo seems to be pour encourager les autres. Normally those who shaft others to save their own skins eventually get caught themselves but he's managed to eke six years out of it.

I don't know who to admire more, Eddie himself for his giant brass neck or the long-suffering players & staff for not going on strike long before now.

It's a really classless and public way of telling a player not to get too big for their boots when they've barely started their international career. Public bullying is what it is.

Nah, everyone's still talking about how Smith should start. It's just now people who don't follow rugby much think our coach is a massive twat. They're not wrong, but it's preferable if no-one else knows this.

Yep, looks that way to me.
Pretty disrespectful to Raducanu as well.

Did the same with Itoje didn't he?

I can see why people think Eddie's a cock for doing this but at the same time this stuff should be water off a duck's back to Radacanu and Smith.

Does anybody still seriously think that an England training camp organised by Jones with personnel like Cockerill, a sacked RL coach in his first RU job and some 7s coaches is an elite environment and a step up in quality from what they get day-to-day with their clubs? I suspect the only thing the players are motivated to do after being in camp with Jones is to return to their clubs.

Meh, what National setup is better than their best club organisations? Even ABs get pissed on by Crusaders or Chiefs club environment.

Perhaps, but I'm certain that players selected for the All Blacks don't step back into 1985 when they join the national training camp.

Can't stop thinking rugby must be a shit product, if it constantly relies on off field drama and crap like this to keep it in the papers.

The levels of shit it needs to wrap itself up in, and sustain itself from banter (racism), class'ism (pitting poshos against the poor), nationalism, culture, the military, on field ref controversy, there is just layer after layer of nonsense just to disguise the facts that it is just a business, like Colgate toothpaste.

If Eddie represented any business (apart from one rugby related) he would be given his sandwiches, wrapped in a map before morning tea.
