As a French fan who enjoyed his rugby years at a time when the French team regularly scored 40pts against Ireland during the 6N, I want to say how impressed I am with the way Ireland has build the structure to support consistent performances.

With 3 consecutive victories against the ABs, an excellent 6N tournament with 5bp in 5 games and a narrow loss to France, Ireland is establishing itself as one of the top sides in world rugby, and one of the RWC favorite.

There were times when I thought Ireland were not playing too well, but somehow, the team kept on going forward, and forward again and scoring tries.

The work in the rucks is outstanding too, saw this again today against Scotland.

Ireland is a bloody machine.

Ireland are a top and form team as are the French.

But you certainly have an interesting definition of consecutive

Nothing to do with the French game. Just expressing my admiration for what the Irish do.

I didn't say best team in the world. Need to see New Zealand and South Africa at full fitness first.

But I think in Europe, it is very close between France and Ireland, and with the two teams named above you have the top 4 in the world.
