Today is difficult and filled with emotion for me as I announce my retirement from tennis. I wasn’t sure how to share this news with you so I asked my good friend @caseydellacqua to help me. I am so thankful for everything this sport has given me and leave feeling proud and fulfilled. Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way, I’ll always be grateful for the lifelong memories that we created together

I've no idea what the cartoon refers to...

and Ash Barty is Aboriginal. Billy Barty's last name isn't even the same, Neigs, it's a contraction. Hard to see any connection there at all.

She's left tennis before and opening discussed how it affected her mental health. She's now won multiple slams, including Wimbledon, been world No.1 and won her home slam. She's been to the top, done it for her home nation and become rich. A crying shame she is retiring but best of luck to her.
