I'm not clear on how accountable the clubs themselves are held in this - they're the ones who should know if a player is liable to this sort of scumbag behaviour, so shouldn't be picking them.

That lads team are on a last warning so they are being held responsible
Not sure that's quite being held to account - let's wait until someone's convicted in a court of law, offends in pretty much the exact same away again, and then say 'stop it - we really mean it this time'.

Sounds a pretty rotten team, they've had matches abandoned because they've had 4 sent off. The coach doesn't sound like he's realty grasping or treating the problem:
Fairwater head coach Brendan McAloon told WalesOnline the second yellow card Jones received was "debatable", insisting the frustrated player accidentally knocked the cards out of the official's hand as he remonstrated over the decision. He said it did not amount to physical abuse.

"It was a silly reaction but he only tapped the card out of the referee's hand. He was frustrated because they were two yellow cards for technical offences and the second one was debatable.
I'm a bit confused why he was let back after the last episode, but with statements like that from the coach I can start to imagine.

As a South African I'm outraged by this instance of ref abuse by the nation of [scrolls back to double check] Wales.

Aye. And appoint someone worse as body coach.
