Etiquette question:

I've had great enjoyment working away at this all day, ignoring the missus, neglecting the kids, avoiding anything productive.

So I've found a few solutions and have ideas for a few more.

Given that I get a huge head start from being the only crossworder on the dayshift, should I not wait until later in my afternoon to start? So that you Western hemisphere types don't wake to find the crossword all done (OK, I'm getting a bit ahead of myself now)?

Happy to have a later kick off in future.

Observations anyone?

It's never been an issue before today, because I generally haven't got many, even with 8 hours head start. But I'm starting to see more, now.

I know I like to start off with a fresh, clean crossword and I'm sure others are the same.

From tomorrow I'll start in my afternoon.
