It's impossible to overstate his impact on the UK music scene, and from there on to world wide influence through Fleetwood Mac, The Stones, Led Zeppelin etc

He and Alexis Korner were great evangelists for the Blues.

He was a seminal influence on the young Eric Clapton too. An absolute giant.
