...........in yacht sinking off Sicily
Didn't get long to enjoy his freedom.

British tech entrepreneur Mike Lynch is missing after the sinking of a superyacht off the coast of Sicily, The Telegraph understands.

One person has died and six others, including four British nationals, are missing after the boat, called “Bayesian”, sank at around 5am in front of Porticello in the province of Palermo.

Emergency services have been pictured carrying a bodybag to shore after local media reported a man’s body had been recovered from the shipwreck.

A coast guard statement from this morning, issued before the body was recovered, said: “There are currently seven missing, one crew member and six passengers, of British, American and Canadian nationality.”

I appreciate accidents happen, and it would be very lazy to suggest anything even more sinister, but for some reason my spidey senses are tingling with this one.

CIA sent one of their tornadoes to smash the yacht to bits?

His co-defendant has also died, hit by a car whilst out jogging. Either the most astonishing and tragic coincidence or…

That would have made more sense if I hadn't mixed up HP and Yahoo.

They're both shite and it's been a long weekend.

I know it's what they do, but it never fails to disgust me the way the media stick a plum on telling the relatives of the victims how they really could be still alive in an air pocket

No. No they aren't; they're all dead & they've been so since a couple of minutes after the yacht sank & they drowned.

It's the same shit we went thru when that fucking idiot killed a couple of billionaires in a dive down to the Titanic, & half the worlds media tried to spin minute pieces of information released officially into whole cloth, while ghoulishly informing everyone how much oxygen there was left.

If there had been a pocket, you could be sure the cook would have found it.

As he's dead, safe to assume they all are.

Just because it turns the oxygen toxic is no reason to panic, actually you might get lucky and enjoy feeling rat arsed. Maybe you even reach a point where you can reliably answer electrocution vs shark as a means of death

You should watch Billy Wilder's 1951 film Ace in the Hole for a really (and I do mean really) cynical view of media manipulation of accidents like this.

Not hit and run. Hit by a woman driver from Buckinghamshire while out on his morning run near Wickham in Suffolk
Following the accident, the driver of the car, a 49-year-old woman from Haddenham, remained at the scene and is assisting with enquiries, police said.
There's a 4 page thread about this though mainly the boat sinkng on PR with that expert on absolutely everything, Bimbo proposing and arguing an absolutely lunatic conspiracy theory contrary to what local witnesses and maritime experts are relating :bimbo:

I do. 50ft of crystal clear water in a calm part of the Med in August? Luxury compared to most salvage operations.

He's dead right !

This is clearly the work of Jewish Space lasers !!

First of all they dazzle the poor woman driving the car that ploughed into the jogger, & then they focused on the water to cause the water spout.

No doubt it was all organised in Chicago during the DNC, by a cabal

Reckon the skipper could be in big trouble
The public prosecutor of Termini Imerese is investigating charges of shipwreck, disaster and multiple homicides over the sinking, according to the Italian news agency Adnkronos.
These are similar to manslaughter charges in the UK and the specific charge of provoking or causing a shipwreck can carry a prison sentence of up to 12 years.

Senior onsite salvage investigator was on BBC. He reckons a yacht that size should never capsize in a waterspout of that intensity. Suspects they left "a large part of the hull open overnight, which with a storm forecast was a big no-no...."

Maybe the tender garage was left open and flooded....?
