So I've got some (overpriced) tickets to Stormers vs Quins in December at 20:00 & my mates and I thought we would get an early supper in Twickenham before the game. So rather than a cheap burger and some beers like we usually do, maybe a sit-down meal in the High Street area at 6pm might be more enjoyable on a cold December Saturday?

Any recommendations please? There appear to be several Thai, Indian and even a Lebanese down towards Richmond Road....

Not a lot to reccomend in Twickenham though haven't been for a few years.
You might be better looking at Richmond and then walking to the stadium. My son had a decent meal at The Watermans dhich is down near the river. Mighty be worth a Google

Few years since I've been down there as well but from what I remember I'd agree with this.

A sit down dinner before a rugby match.

You've been in the UK too long. Why don't you just braai and fight like the rest of us?

There’s an Italian restaurant called Valentino’s Bellissimo on the High street. Food has always been pretty good when I’ve been. If you tell them you’re going to the rugby they’ll make sure everything comes out in good time as well

To be fair, the olden days of BBQ's in the West Car Park was a bloody brilliant institution

The tightening of Drink Driving Laws probably put an end to those days out.

Also partially responsible for the massively reduced socialising between teams at club level
