Always used to laugh when we would have Phil K-J and Phil Gifford as after-dinner guest speakers. K-J would go first and the jokes would get a laugh; then Phil G would come out with the same ones and would be met with stony silence.

He'd get a reaction to his "tough crowd" comments though.
