Wordle
Ok, cheers. So only picks the first one and other stays as black. You never can get two letters from a guess referring to a single position in the solution.
Presumably it will pick a green over a yellow, before left to right for choosing one. Eg Fails and with guess sales is b…g , not y…b

It's only rumoured atmo, he hasn't actually said so, but the only words that have ended in s so far (afaik) are truss and rebusGumboot wrote: Mon Jan 17, 2022 9:10 pm Pretty sure I read somewhere that there are no plurals or verbs ending with S.

My second go at this and I've managed both in 4... but I put it away for a while today and came back fresh. I went from one green, one yellow across the first three... process of elimination from there but it's a satisfying head scratcher.
2 thumbs up.

Spoiling the result is a shitty thing to do regardless of whether you think something is serious or not.Mr Tim Buktoo wrote: Tue Jan 18, 2022 12:15 amMr Tim Buktoo wrote: Mon Jan 17, 2022 10:32 pm First time trying it today. I'm guessing he's talking about wordle, not the clue
No, did yesterday and did today. Saw something on Arstechnica, I’m normally good at being ignorant of such trends.
Doh

Thought you were saying you did the exact same puzzle twice and still got 5.

Wordle 213 6/6

Actually disappointed about the last one being the correct one. If that had been wrong too it would have been far more remarkable.

Me too, and I probably shouldn't be spending time with paper and pencil going through combinations of letters.
