As I pointed out to Blackmac at 1/2 time last week, Sco were still in the game if they played any structured rugby. So yes, that was the "right rugby" but that's not heads up rugby. It was just desisting playing dumb rugby, or no no rugby at all.
Admit it, you don't like that Scotland keep scoring heads up tries against your French heroes as they come back, especially that lovely heads up grubber from George Horne.

Not sure what he was meant to do there. He's running to cover the break, the pass comes inside and then Ollivon at full speed also changes direction.
That was a clear penalty at the lineout. Berry has been an absolute homer.
I reckon we got more out of that than the French. Forwards absolutely fronted up, replacements were excellent and Russell, Horne and Jones were superb.

Mix of emotions there. 3 point loss away to France is nothing to shirk at. Another decent comeback but fuck me if they can turn themselves into at least a 60 minute team they'd win that. Price is my 4th choice now, if white doesn't start it should be Horne, he's changed the tempo considerably every time he has come on.
