Come on Torq, this is putting you in with DAC
Is that a compliment? :problem:

I've been pretty clear on this. I'm totally supportive of safety measures where they are appropriate, demonstrably effective and will be enforced. I'm entirely against politically or economically (paying for the police's Xmas party) motivated, blanket changes/bans.
This is a measure that's demonstrably effective.
Data source (the Grauniad saying so doesn't count)?

No poetry in your soul
That was nothing but poetry being the sound made on the wind as one swings a baseball bat with sufficient velocity. A cricket bat can maybe reach lightsaber style noises whilst being swung hard enough to displace sufficient air, so cricket bats are better, they just take a lot more effort.

Thankyou.

Reports I saw were of a 40% drop in collisions and 39% drop in casualties.
