It is a worry.
If you take this as an outlier then we know that the game will be a lot tighter.

One French analyst mentioned that the Italian team was watching the game rather than play it.
It does look like this in hindsight.

Well 3 of them managed to injure themselves whilst they were standing around watching their heroes

France always conjures at least one freakish surprise per world cup, so Italy by 2.

If you get french you may want to check this (articulated better than I can ;)

He points out a few things (I doubt these will reoccur against France).

Not that it will happen, but if Italy did win by two and both teams ended up on 14 points, would it come down to points difference or head to head between the two teams?

Head to head if it's just France and Italy tied on 14. Points difference would come into it if NZ won with no BP against Uruguay and also finished on 14.

Ramos is okay but he's no saffa kicker.

Danty is one of my favourite players right now, he is one of the most effective players, not just centres, in the game. However, he looks like he's been having a lunch or two with Mathieu Bastareaud.

Italy have a unique ability to fvck up a wondrous sequence of play.

Wasn't that when he shifted into the pack?

Danty looks heavier than he did a few months ago

Dickson's letting a lot of questionable clear outs go on. Ireland would love him to be reffing their games.

He's a terrible ref but as soon as the TMO comes in it puts a lot of pressure on the ref as the TMO is sitting looking at TVs.

I'm not even sure it rode up, it was the whiplash that brought the head close to the shoulder.

The legal height for contact has to be lowered.

The day is not far in the future where players intentionally hit opposition shoulders with their heads to milk a penalty.
