More relevant than talking about twenty year old Kiwi Super Rugby games
Now you're just lying to yourself chief, that's the exact era and type of rugby you fell in love with.
I didn't watch Super rugby 20 years ago. I fell in love with rugby playing it as a kid, then again as a spectator following the 97 Lions on TV. I appreciate that you are currently viewing every non-Saffa post in this thread as an excuse to give it both barrels with your triumphalism but you're all over the place, maybe wind it back a bit
I had to probe, in any fight you're going to take hits yourself, part of the fun.
We've chatted for many years JM. You cannot on the one hand say what Le Roux did was unique (no it's not really), and on the other hand admire NZ rugby (come on, you enjoy NZ Soup rugby), pretending like parts of that rugby culture don't exist.
What did I say in the original post? That Le Roux has "serious tappit energy", tappit means uncivilised, a chav would be a close match in the UK. Rugby isn't above this stuff, King Carlos was one of the greatest ever. The main thing I'll remember about him is that length of the field try and purposely scoring in the corner (then from memory converting the kick?!), then the "fuck you" to the Saders. If you cannot see how it's hilarious then I don't know.
Of course the England team (to make it explicit for Margins, the team) deserved something like that.
