Mitchell looking tired in body and mind.

Don’t think Saints can get back from here but they’ve done bloody well with a young team and those early injuries.

FFS, just scrum straight and make Northampton play out the hard way.

It's a shame they couldn't produce more of their semi final form. UBB were there for the taking.

UBB just so wasteful in the 22

Agreed, they should have been 20 points or more further ahead

You could substitute that the other way round. It's a final. Both teams lacking experience and not surprisingly making errors.

I fear they're falling into "the semi-final was their final" territory.

This has haunted UBB for 2 seasons now. Discipline is terrible.

No disrespect to the lad because he's done his best in trying circumstances, but Litchfield does not have top end winger pace and it's hurt Northampton's attack. If they'd been able to have one of Furbank, Ramm or Hendy out there, I think they'd have been just incisive enough to make a difference.

Really? There’s some big established names in that UBB squad.

True. Lots of bang average to poor performances.

Bordeaux replacement hooker has had an all-time horrendously bad outing.

And the only final some of them have played in at club level, they were utterly humiliated by Toulouse.

Plus.......... they are French

UBB giving a textbook example of how not to close out a game when you're two scores up.

That's as straight a line out throw as we will ever see penalised.

I’m not disputing that there have been lots of UBB mistakes, to be clear. They’ve probably dropped 20 points.

The combo of that, really weak discipline and a lineout-maul that a blind team of dwarves would have been embarrassed by.

Lucu MOTM for me. Sa needs to go back to school. Horror show at hooker. More pies thrown than in a week at Melton.

Too many Saints players were ordinary slash poor, I can only think of Coles who played well. Freeman tried hard but couldn't do it all in his own. Ref rode us hard but no way did we deserve to win, congratulations BB.
