He's always been very good - looks like he might have lost 3 or 4kgs which has done him no harm.

2 x 1D game plan teams. Trouble for Ire is it's the same plan as Eng and Eng better at it in every aspect.

Reminds me of Moody, absolutely no fear or sense of self preservation.
He's excellent and doing all of Billy V's work.

I've actually been more impressed by Billy's defensive effort this week than in many recent outings.

How on earth does Jamie George move that rig around for 80 minutes? He's genuinely quick and is always at or near the top of the tackle stats. Some engine he has.

Another complete momentum stopping pass from Youngs followed by a dogshit kick.

Swapping Simmonds in for Billy V wouldn’t do the England backrow any harm

that should have been a pen, not a scrum. lost forward, play adv, player on the floor illegally stops Eng player on his feet from gaining possesion.

My six year old saw him and said, "He's a fat old man."

He's also matured into a top class hooker from his early cameos off the bench.

Can we get some bloody subs on, please?

Since I keep hearing refs not award penalties on the basis that they need to see a clear lift of the ball, how does Doris keeping one hand on it despite the clearout qualify as a turnover penalty in Ireland's favour?

Absolutely braindead from Youngs leaving that ball in the maul.

Fucking hell Youngs, you had your hands on that ball at the back of the maul and watched it go fucking nowhere, then decided to take your hands off it and watch the turnover.

At the moment we have one back we can get past players.

Great turnover by Itoje as Ireland just run out of players in the face of our defence.

Youngs' fuck up totally bailed out by some massive defensive work from the rest of the team.

English defence is superb, imagine how it would be with S E as defence coach.

We've created absolutely nothing this half and haven't even looked like we want to.

It should be a win but apart from 10s the whole attack of England has left me feeing totally flat.

You'd think Ireland would consider not throwing lineout ball into Itoje's arc?

Should be yellow for repeated infringements in 22.

Outstanding from Slade and then Launchbury in to make absolutely sure they can't get it down or back.

10 mins to go. attacking in the opposition half. What should we do. Kick it.

Because your game plan involves zero expansive play. + your half backs have no ability in offence.

Billy Burns playing international rugby speaks to a real lack of depth for Ireland.
