Found this.

On reflection.
Do any of the Saffers feel we have a realistic chance of winning this.
Is anyone comfortable with our preparation and coaching.
Let's be honest. We have some serious talent at our disposal . But are we going to see the best out of them.
We are Ireland's bitches currently. Can we realistically beat them. We are France's bitches. Do we have a plan to beat them that you can see. The ABs made us look like a school team. Can we realistically beat them in the next few years.
Boet, that's a bit too much honesty asked for. The saffers here usually are not that good in objectiveness. Expect the usual chest thumping
Surprisingly the chest thumping has been subdued.....
Before the season started we had 2 teams good enough to beat anyone and the dreaded Bomb squad..
Now we have the Stomps trashing Faf and Willie who they feel are responsible for the under par performances , probably looking for Herschel and Willemse to replace those 2 in the squad. Especially on fb. More particularily Sandy and Ouboet on here. Strangely the stats are contrary to the opinions of these two yet here we are. There is a perception and that's all that's required. :lolno: :lolno: :lolno:

Reports of Rassie and Nienaber tendering their resignations prior to the Lions tour have emerged.
Because they felt the players hadn't enough time to prepare.....Then Rassiegate....
Now Nienaber is tuning Rassie what to do.....stay home and work on the players staying behind whilst he does the business in Argentina.
Either finally finding his balls prior to heading to Leinster or wanting to get away from the influence of Rassie. I am worried that there are tensions in the bok camp. Rassie likes to be hands on......the keyboard.

I don't think we should deviate much from the side we've rolled out so far. If emotions really don't come in to selections, there's no need to look at uncapped squad members like Finau. Leave that for Razor to decide, next year.

Thanks for the heads up on checking the stats.....
Always great to have a more balanced and informed poster weighing in.

Dude....trying to make conversation around the RWC. Sick of listening to warped opinions .
Rassnabber is not very popular currently....
Each year we have a poor showing prior to RWC , I think the coaches are holding back and will surprise us at the RWC.....Felt like that about Snor and his replacement. Yet somehow what you see is what you get.......

Lots of kicking again probably.

At least this back 3 aren’t midgets like last week and can compete in the air.

As much as Kolbe and Arendse have gas to burn.....this was a weakness against the ABs and Argentina.
Canaan and Mapimpi will solve this.

Agree. Duane really has made 8 his own again. And is hungry for the RWC. Wiese needs to play out of his skin. Roos can go home and wait with a packed bag.

I laughed. I fucking laughed. Not at you, Gumboot... at the hilarity of it all. On the bright side, that backline could actually do some serious damage. No Beauden at long last, shame Mo'unga isn't starting to get a real gauge on that and as Kiwias points out, no Barretts at all is weird

He is very yappy with refs. Does not come across as a natural leader either. But he is close to the action, whereas Am is too far away. Still strange in many ways.

Seems obvious why they went with Bongi, he's the type of guy who reads books in his spare time. Same reason Jean de Villiers got the captaincy when no natural leader was available. If there's no standout leader available, you pick the most intelligent guy who can communicate.

Problem is does he have any experience? Might prove to be crucial with the Georgian ref. Anyway, it is what it is and a big honour for him I'm sure.

Since everyone is thinking it but no one is willing to say it, I will. He's captain because of political pressure on transformation. Also, rassinaber likes his captain to be a big tough bastard near the coalface and not some glamor queen in the backline.

He's between a rock and a beachball. Two Sharks, well is dry on talent and experience. Might as well flip a coin. Bongi won.

TBF Duane last week was fucking shite when our #9 got knocked out cold. He should have been waaaay more forceful with the ref.

I’d like to see more of D Mac, and less of BB in this test.
Predicted lineup...

Possible All Blacks starting XV: Will Jordan, Shaun Stevenson, Braydon Ennor, Anton Lienert-Brown, Leicester Fainga’anuku, Damian McKenzie, Finlay Christie, Ardie Savea, Sam Cane (captain), Samipeni Finau, Sam Whitelock, Brodie Retallick, Nepo Laulala, Samisoni Taukei’aho, Tamaiti Williams.
Grandpa is Ian Foster and I claim my annual subscription to the BB fan club.

Holy smoke. You are the oracle !!!

🧎‍♂️🧎‍♂️
I shouldn't say anything and leave you guys thinking I'm Nostradamus... but someone on Stuff predicted that having watched them train... If I was Ian Foster I'd have resigned by now...

Which white guy missed out on being captain Deon Fourie? Thomas du Toit? If this is all planning for the RWC, Fourie will be doing well to make the RWC squad at all, probably not going to be in the top 23. Du Toit is a lock in for squad, but has been used mostly on the bench, because he can play both sides it adds some versatility, playing him at tighthead (his worse side) means they can pick another player at loosehead, like in this test.

Bongi looks more likely to be on the pitch if other captain options go down? He's certain to be in the 23. If that actually happens and he needs to take over as captain we would be really fucked though, as Kolisi/Duane/Etzebeth (that order) are all ahead of him, and maybe Pollard too.

If it's about politics (I'm not convinced) then that's some next level planning. Boks always get more attention from the racist EFF types during a RWC, they hate watch the matches, a white captain is the sort of thing they would lose their mind over. They disrupted the players in 2015 I reckon, tried again in 2019 and failed.

There's a few more wit okes in the team than Fourie and Tank (Tank is not locked in with Trevor there anyways). Sous is a senior bok and Reinach is close enough to the coalface. I doubt I'll make them captain in a WC
match but I doubt they'll be any worse than Bongi.
