This should be interesting given it’s an actual croc roll this week

Argentinian kickers are the most languid and rhythmical kickers. It seems to be such little effort and they strike it with almost ridiculous ease.

Good call from ref to avoid more than pen for the lift

Great kick. He's looked like a completely different player since that head knock. Ireland will be hoping he doesn't come to.

Yellow stays yellow - amazing how in the space of two weeks they've completely fucked this

It was the slowest croc roll ever. He must have had plenty time to think not to do it.
There's no doubt he did exactly what he was intending to do
That's my point. He must be thick as shit.

I fail to see how Cummings landing on the lower leg of a player due to the actions of others is deemed more dangerous and worthy of greater sanction than a deliberate croc roll which twisted the Argentinian prop's knee

Pretty obvious attacking set by Ireland there. Generally so far today they're just going for power carries in midfield then going wide as soon as there's the hint of a mismatch. Not much guile yet.

Stupid question, but I'm too lazy to check myself.

If a player gets two YCs, does this turn into a Full RC, or a 20min RC ?

That's better - excellent set piece move does the job when phase play couldn't. Henshaw has been very bright

I think it depends what it's for - technical offences would be 20 mins, foul play would be full red

edit, actually I don't know where I got that from

I'm not aware of any exceptions to the 20min red. Someone could stab POM and they'd still be able to replace the perp after 20

I definitely heard the TNT team saying last week that refs still have the option of a full red for obvious foul play, punching, biting, gouging etc

Yeah there's still the no review RC, but I suppose if you get two technical YCs, for want of a better word, then its a 20min RC.

I hate to say it but they should copy the GAA & have a YC, a Black Card, aka that player is gone, & its 20 mins before you can replace them, & the RC that says hit the showers, & then go buy some nice biscuits

Just did a bit of googling and it seems they were going to decide whether to make it apply to all red cards but have delayed that call. I must have misunderstood originally.

So the "red cards ruin matches" crew still have to fear their team's thuggery for now
